Overview
To collaborate with people and teams from your demand boards in approving files under development in an initiative or workspace, the Approval feature is available among the demand resources.
Anyone in your account, whether a member or guest in your workspace, can perform approvals. Simply add this person as an approver in your demand, either when creating the demand or when editing an ongoing demand.
Accessing an approval
- Access the demand.
- Click on the Vertical menu button
located next to the demand name.
- Select Approvals.
Approving a file
- To approve a file without previewing it:
- Select the file to be approved with the radio button
located next to the file thumbnail.

Click on the corresponding menu buttons
to approve
or reject
the file.
- Hover the mouse cursor over the information icon
to view the users awaiting approval and the approvals made on the file.
- Select the file to be approved with the radio button
- To approve with a preview of the file:
- Click on the thumbnail
or name of a file in the approval process to preview it.
- Click on the thumbnail

At the bottom of the file preview in the approval process, there are the approval buttons . To the right of the preview, there are buttons to view information, pin comments, and download the file.
- To approve or reject a file, click on Approve
or Reject
button. Demand managers will see alternative Consolidation and Approval editing buttons.
- To view information on pending approval files, approved files, view another pending file, as well as the approvers responsible for the demand, click on the Information button
.
- To view comments and pins added to approval files, click on the Comments button
.
- To download the file under approval, click on the Download button
.
