#### Overview

**Initiatives** are co-creation and content distribution environments. Through an initiative, it is possible to connect: **Demands**, **People and Teams**, **Partners**, and **Clients**.

With Wikimee initiatives, the distribution of your content across different platforms is much faster and efficient.

#### Initiative templates

You can use the **predefined templates** existing in Wikimee for content production. An initiative can be:

- **Project** - A project represents a temporary effort undertaken to create your product or service.
- **Campaign** - A set of actions and resources to achieve a certain goal.
- **Event** - An occurrence that brings people together around a goal.
- **Action** - Planning or effort added to resources to achieve a goal together.
- **Image bank** - An organizational space for your images.

It is also possible to opt for a **Standard Initiative**, for initiative types that are specific to your organization's operating scenario.

**Creating an initiative** is very easy. In just 4 steps, you will have a new initiative ready for publication and distribution of your content.
